SHOULD HUCK FINN BE CAUGHT IN SCHOOL

Should Huck Finn be taught in CHS? I think it should and should not be taught in CHS. In my paper I will explain my reasons.

First it should be taught in CHS because it talks about history. For examples it talks about slavery, hard times, and the struggle of the African American people of what they went though.

Next it should not be taught be taught in CHS because it talks about religion, it also has bad grammar. In public school we are not supposed to talk about religion and in the book it say “you going to go to the bad place and I am going to the good place.” Also the grammar is the worst. In the story they use the wrong words, symbols, and give off the wrong impression.

Last it uses bad words. When reading the book the kids are going to use the words in school and will get in trouble. An when the teachers ask where they got the word from, they are going to say the book Huck Finn. Then what are they going to do?

In conclusion the story Huck Finn should and should not be read in CHS. I hope this paper helped you out on your choice on the story Huck Finn
